About Me

Lena Jeong is an Asian-American YA author. Although she has an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, her interests have always been a bit nomadic, from working at a radio station to getting her name (however misspelled) into the credits of a movie. The one constant interest Lena has in life is writing diverse books and helping others do the same. And Break the Pretty Kings is her debut novel.

When she’s not working on her Korea-inspired YA novels, Lena can be found doing everything in her power to remain the “favorite auntie” among her adorable niece and nephews. You can also find her creating hanbok-inspired outfits on Animal Crossing: New Horizons or endlessly experimenting on new ways to make the perfect matcha latte. Her pronouns are she/her.
